"Historical romantic getaway"

10.0

The location was beautiful. I enjoyed the history and being able to read about the renovations that the trust made to make it possible for modern living. It was very well preserved and historical yet still has the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully equipped and I was able to cook full meals and clean easily with the dish washer. The bed was comfortable and they even took care to think of our dog

Not anything to do with the house but it was hard to navigate the road with all the leaves fallen

"Wonderful cabin in the woods with so much history!"

8.0

Really cool location and house that’s part of the Landmark Trust, right down the road from Scott Farm and where Kipling wrote Jungle Book. The house is an old maple syrup facility. Rustic but very comfortable!

Only issue was hearing some 4 legged friends in the roof or right outside at night. They were not in the house but close enough to hear them.
