"Found Stacy’s retreat last minute thankfully because we really didn’t want to spend $700+ on a hotel in St. Louis. The p"

Very cute property, it was easy to find and it was basically like a hotel room just a little smaller, but with a mini stove and a full size fridge.

Only issue was the automatic lock was really finicky, had to really pull on the door to get it to lock and unlock.

"Excellent place to stay if you're just looking for somewhere quiet."

10.0

Host answered my call right away and was able to help me get into the place. It was nice and quiet a good retreat away from the kids and Monday to Friday grind.

The color on the front room television is either going out or needs to be adjusted.

"It was ideal for the short stay we needed for medical needs."

The location was excellent.

Too sting of room freshener for someone with breathing issues.

"Save yourself the hassle and book with a corporate hotel not the Frozen Potpourri Palace."

1.0

I liked the location. It was near the place I was working.

If you enjoy cold nights without heat and headache inducing potpourri, you are home. I endured the first night huddled under towels and my coat. The next morning, I messaged owner asking her to show me how use the heater. She messaged back the manual is on the table. I had already read the manual multiple times. When I got in from work, I again read the manual. This time I noticed the heat element was not an option on the air conditioning unit. I took a picture and video of the missing heat element. When I went to bed huddled again under my coat and towels trying to get to sleep for work the next morning, I asked myself why I was putting myself through this? At 10:30 pm I got up and left for a hotel. Now I have paragraphs from the owner excusing the heat situation and blaming me for poor communication. I ASKED. I booked the room months in advance, and she had plenty of time to make sure it was working before I arrived. She has tons of time and words to excuse herself when she did not have 5 minutes for me before when I ASKED her to show me. ¼ roll of TP and no extra, but potpourri for a lifetime. A sheet and thin bedspread soaked in god awful fragrance on the bed. Not even a blanket for a night with a low temp of 44. Refused refund request, but offered another 4 paragraphs of excuses. I guess she had to buy a heater and some TP. WWJD?
