Snooze Station by Sydney Galle

The staffs are just so fantastic. I was super confused with the airport highway bus and one of the staff came all the way with me to help and check if I'm taking the right bus😭 And they always come to ask you if you need anything. The room is hotel quality, felt really safe in the hostel too. Location is great, you can easily get to the Galle fort on foot or by tuktuks. Highly recommend it!

Wish it was more social, but I think it is because it was a new hostel.

Value for money as the location, food and cleanliness of rooms were fantastic. Rooms and toilets were fresh and clean. Beds come with a charging spot where I could charge any kind of international adapter. Management were really Friendly and helpful. Safe parking was a massive plus. I had the Sri Lankan Breakfast which was super tasty and portion sizes were great. Theres a really unique sri lankan drinks/cocktails menu. They were super refreshing.

The location was perfect, right near the main public transport terminals in Galle. Having been away from SL for quite a few years, it was exceptionally easy to find. The food was amazing, I had been craving Sri Lankan food the whole journey down and the food at the Sydney hotel (linked to the snooze station) really hit the spot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Assisting me in finding my way around and recommendations. I think I have found my place to stay whenever I make it to Galle!

Convenient location, we were welcomed by the team with a cold drink and a hot towel. The food was amazing and the cocktails are to die for. They have really thought about the travellers point of view, my friends and I had the best time over at snooze station.

The location was sublime, very close to the fort and the central bus stand. All the amenities were provided, everything was very clean, and all the support from the staff was very efficient. It was a very pleasant stay. The food was an amazing addition as well to the vibe of the bar connected to Snooze station. I will only be coming back here for my future stays in Galle!!

Perfect location right across the main Galle bus station. convenient access to the old fort and sites around Galle. Also a great spot to do day trips to beaches in the South. Clean, well maintained and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great local bar at the bottom of the hostel, with a range of local food.

The hostel was very clean especially the washrooms and it was definitely value for money since the location was central to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The hostel included an old age arrack bar which was a great addition as I was traveling by myself. Highly recommend this place as it is convenient and provides great accommodation and hospitality for affordable prices.

I was travelling to Tissamaharama and thought to take a break in Galle for one night. I found this place very close to the expressway bus stand and quite central in Galle so selected the same. Since I was travelling alone and on a budget, I thought staying in a dorm room would be the perfect cost saving option and managed to secure a bed in their Arrack Mixed dorm room. I found it perfectly safe for a female travelling alone. The staff was friendly and the place was extremely clean!! They have a small area to sit and enjoy the breakfast or a snack. Definitely would recommend to those looking for a convenient and inexpensive place to stay!
