Marriott Salt Lake City Center

Breakfast buffet was decent. It would be nice to get a discount on that when staying.

The room had a bathroom floorplan layout that was not good: the toilet was in sight, right next to the door and the tub was inadequate.

It looked like hotel was understaffed. When we arrived with 6 skiing bags during late afternoon, no one met us from the taxi or helped us carry the suitcases up the 10 stairs leading into the lobby. We did not even know there was an elevator. We waited for 40min for our suitcases to be taken to the room. Service and staff were not at the level you would expect from a hotel in Salt Lake City that charges $450/night.

The rooms are old. The bed is too short for me.

Really nice room, great restaurant downstairs for a quick meal.

The bed was worn out and sagged in the middle causing back pain.

The staff members were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were great and we were able to have 2 of our rooms adjoining and all 3 on the same floor. The location of this hotel to the Gallivan ice skating rink and restaurants is great!!

The dislikes are small but important. With the class of hotel this is, a microwave in every room would be nice. The hot tub had so much chemical in it that our eyes were burning just being around it and worse when we tried to get in. We love room service, but the coffee arrived cold as was the rest of the food (with no microwave in the room to heat things up, this became an inconvenience to have to go down the hallway to heat things up; defeating the purpose of room service).
