BoHo Hills Bali

Beautiful property, the rooms were all gorgeously decorated. Breakfast was amazing everyday!

They lacked attention to detail, the pool felt a bit dirty, the sunset room (most expensive room) had cracks and holes all throughout the ceiling and walls, which meant aircon didn’t work well and bugs got in easily. The view was also pretty bad (attached photo) as it looked like building work had just started being done. We asked for a different room due to those reasons. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and there was no mobile data/3G. The hotel was down a long road which grabs weren’t keen on. There were loads of really random bits of standstill water both in the rooms and outside which seemed to attract tonnes of mosquitos. It’s quite expensive for what it is. After 2-3 nights we had to leave as they kept promising us the wifi would be fixed tomorrow/today and we needed to do some work and be able to contact our families!

The location was not good and the property is not maintained. The photos on booking.com and at the location differ a lot.

The pool is nice

The property is quite old and needs some work. The main thing was the shower not working properly (running very slow) and toilet not flushing properly (if at all).

Beautiful spot to stay! Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights in the sunset room - it felt very romantic, tranquil and a beautiful start to our holiday. Don’t be worried about the location, in fact I think the location was great as it was a little bit further away from the main strip of Uluwatu - grab / gojek will get you anywhere you need to go for about 10/20k a trip ($1/$2nzd). Everything is about 15 minutes away. Staff were amazing, pool was great, breakfast was delicious. I would be super happy to stay here again ☀️

The wildlife around you is .. loud .. but that is Bali for you. There are geckos that are in the room and they woke us up every morning. Some cows also woke us up in the middle of the night. The villa right behind us has a party one night and they were super loud which was unfortunate. Definitely had some uninterrupted sleeps but that is no fault of the villa.

I had the most incredible stay at BoHo Hills, all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable to ask for any help when I needed. The room was very spacious and comfortable, it was cleaned daily. There were great options for breakfast too. The hotel is away from the main roads, so you really get to experience the rare tranquility of Bali. I felt so rested, thank you BoHo Hills!

The hotel is far from the main area of Uluwatu, so I would suggest renting a motorbike.
