Le Antiche Mura

The apartment is located on the first floor (you need to climb one flight of stairs only) and is quite spacious. It was very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable and towels and free toiletries were provided. The owner, Francesco, is very helpful and communication with him via Whatsup was very good. The self-check in was very straightforward, as I got the instructions on how to access the flat the day before our arrival. The apartment is located in the historical centre close to the tourist attractions and shops. The railway station is about 20/25 minutes' walk away and there is a bus stop nearby. Highly recommended.

The bathroom is quite small and I think the layout could have been better.

Great amount of space, excellent location, Francesco has excellent communication with you, upon arrival I noticed the front door was broken which he fixed within 30mins.

The way the bathroom is set up, the shower curtain is pretty much on you…and the water floods the floor. This isn’t an issue but I found the bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned well from previous user.

A lovely, spacious and cosy apartment in the city center. Walking distance to the main historical points, restaurants and bars. The apartment is fully equipped and makes you feel like at home. But the best of all, is the host - Francesco - really helpful, communicative and happy to address any questions (in English). I really do appreciate the self service/self check in and check out. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I strongly recommend Le Antiche Mura in the beautiful city of Lukka.

Great location, easy to find, within the walls of Lucca, and close to a parking garage. Our host was very responsive and kind. Easy check-in/check-out process.

The shower was simply a small curtain surround, so the entire bathroom floor would get wet.

There is no bad thing that I could say. The host was incredibly nice and helpful and we had everything we needed. A lot of space, a great equipped kitchen and the best location.

The only this is that sometimes it gets loud. But there is nothing you can do about it. As the streets in the centre are pretty narrow, cars and people talk appear to be louder than you think. But that’s what you have to deal with everywhere when you wish to stay in the old town of Lucca
