Tree Breeze Inn

This property is absolutely beautiful! It’s so quiet with only the sound of birds and insects, and away from the loud streets. We had our own private balcony which we used for morning coffees and thunderstorm watching! The room itself was clean and we were given fresh towels! The staff here are very sweet and even let us stay an extra night when we needed. Would stay again!

The only thing to maybe consider is that it is a ways out of town. We hired a scooter for our stay and it made all the difference (there is a scooter rental 5 minutes walk from this place!). But if you’re walking it’s about 30-40 minutes up and down mountain roads, so keep that in mind. As well, the kitchen in the photos doesn’t look the same. It is very dirty and not well kept so I wouldn’t count on cooking here.

Rooms could have been cleaner.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tree Breeze Inn and would recommend the accommodation. The room (3 people room) was large and clean. Whilst it does not have AC, the fan is large and rather powerful and very effective! Whilst we did not have breakfast, it looked really nice and was cheap for what it was. Our whole stay there was great value for money.

The only downside is the location, it’s more on the outskirts of Kandy though if you don’t mind the walk it’s an easy recommendation to make.

No complaints

A lovely renovated large house within walking distance of the main town. The rooms are large and comfortable with mozie nets supplied! The host is very friendly and knowledgable about the history of not only the local area , but also the whole of Sri Lanka. A great place to stay- away from the noise of the city amongst the trees but still close enough to walk in .
