Hytte i Svolvær

The location and view was one of the most spectacular we’ve experienced in travelling. Breathtaking and mesmerising view over the lake to the mountain from the lounge room and decking. And it changed so much depending on the weather and time of day. Could gaze at it for hours. The owner was also very responsive and helpful and access instructions very easy. The apartment itself is mostly original 50s cabin so pretty ordinary and not very comfortable. The kitchen is tiny and very hard to prepare a meal even for a couple like us. The street and driveway leading to the apartment are very steep and treacherous when icy but being able to park a rental car next to the apartment for free is a definite bonus - just nerve-wracking. What we liked least was having to make the bed up ourselves when we arrived. Not something you want to do after a long drive and for the money you pay.

Very comfortable house with a wonderful view

This place is beyond amazing. It is traditional yet luxurious inside, very well situated, tasty with amazing view. If they served breakfast this would be every traveler's dream, but since its a property with no owner physical contact it makes complete sense. The view is impeccable and the residence is super cozy, easy to find and easy to access. Overall the best stay we have had so far during our whole Lofoten journey. I will be returning again and again.

Everything was perfect indeed. Better than any hotel in the Svolvaer and I have stayed in most of them.

The view was awesome

This place is PERFECT! The inside is clean, cozy, and welcoming—an excellent place to relax after a long day or just snuggle up and enjoy during winter snowfall when you don’t feel like venturing out. The deck view is absolutely astounding! That alone is worth staying for. We were fortunate enough to sit out there with warm drinks and enjoy the northern nights one night. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Perfect location close to everything (with a car) and a killer view. It was also very neat and cozy. The perfect little cabin. Had everything we needed.
