The Coach House

We'd had a bit of a palava with a scam caravan earlier in the day, but Darryll and Stephen welcomed us into their holiday home at very short notice. The apartment is beautifully appointed and clean, with enough comfy beds to sleep 6 people. The care package of fresh bread, butter, and jam was a very nice touch, too. We can't wait to stay again!

We have zero complaints about the actual property, it was wonderful. However, we arrived at night time and accidentally chose the wrong driveway. Oops. It was a little bit difficult to find in the dark, and would suggest phoning ahead.

Lovely dog friendly coach house, set in large grassed garden. Well decorated interior, very well equipped kitchen including everything needed (inc. coffee,tea, oil, etc). A lovely touch was the fresh bread, butter, olive oil, eggs and milk. Frampton Marsh just down the road. Friendly and helpful proprietors, with good communication and directions prior to arrival, then left to enjoy. Unfortunately we only had one night, otherwise would have been very happy to stay longer.

Second double bed was a tad small, for our daughter’s 6’3” other half.

Delightfully decorated, welcoming apartment, with every need thought of.

We were 2 couples and one single visiting a relation in Leverton. We specifically wanted 3 bedrooms, and Booking.com called our accommodation a Three Bedroom Apartment in every email sent to me. But it was only 2 bedrooms and the double bed in the second bedroom was totally unsuitable for a couple to share: small, hammock-like shape really only suitable for one person. The sofa bed in the lounge was a good one, but neither couple wanted to sleep in the lounge and were expecting their own bedroom. I can't imagine why it was advertised as a three bedroom apartment! Having said that, it was still a charming and enjoyable place to stay. Next time I would book direct with the owners.
