Residence Inn by Marriott Cork

The staff were incredibly wonderful, always willing to make you feel comfortable and very helpful. The facility is modern and I loved the quietness, more for the conservative type I would say. I did love the amenities so I could do my washing and there were snacks and drinks to purchase as well, which was a great idea so you can pack little items before a full day tour. Everything in walking distance.

Not sure, lots to like, if I was to say what I didn't like, the parking across the road was so tight and expensive.

Great location, decent size room and in room facilities. The included breakfast was healthy and delicious, not too much irrelevant food. Laundry facilities great for a multi Country trip like I am on and staff were really friendly and happy.

Gym could have a bit more equipment, but it was adequate and better than a lot of other hotel gyms.

Room was not serviced. Cleaner came at 4pm, we had been out all day, whilst we were getting ready for dinner, we advised we were leaving at 5pm. Returned late evening - No cleaning, beds not made etc. staff nxt day apologised… no discount offered.

Lovely hotel, right in the city centre, love the fact its dog friendly. And he can some everywhere in the hotel, even into the sister hotel next door. The room was spotless and comfortable.

It was a little pricey and the let down was the bar. It was a Tuesday night and dead, no one serving at the bar. The selection of draught beer wasn't the best. The good thing was you could walk straight into the Moxy hotel that had a better selection of beer and had a better atmosphere. Also the noise from the laundry trucks collecting at about 7am wasnt good for the head.
