Absolutely not worth the money. “Self-catering” here apparently also means self-cleaning, because there are no cleaning services whatsoever. You’re basically paying premium rates to do everything yourself. The towels are laughable — the “shower towels” are the size of hand towels, and to make it worse, some of the white towels were visibly dirty. Not exactly what you expect when you’re paying for a decent stay. Management is another issue. There’s an older Afrikaans lady who clearly assumes guests don’t understand Afrikaans and speaks about you in front of you. That kind of behaviour is just unprofessional and disrespectful. The unit itself is small and cramped, nothing like what you’d expect for the price. And to top it all off, we had no electricity for about 12 hours during our stay — with zero communication from management. No updates, no apology, nothing. Yes, the views are nice — but views alone don’t justify poor service, lack of basic standards, and zero communication. Overall, this is maybe a 1-star experience at best. For the price they’re charging, you can find far better accommodation in the area without trying too hard

Very nice clean rooms and bar area.

The food was not up to standard and the breakfast was cold and the eggs not done as requested.

Breakfast was good, I loved the variety of the breakfast menu. The staff very friendly and helpful. I came to relax and the peacefulness of the area was really calming.
