"Great hotel and facilities , shame about first contact."

I would score this stay a 9 if it wasn’t for my check in experience. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, excellent mini bar and the best pillows. The coffee shop, tha garden area and the breakfast all lovely.

On check in I was charged an extra booking fee on top of my booking.com price. I was told I had to pay but cash, then I was told the restaurant was closed for dinner. Then I had another issue I won’t detail but overall the person on check in I found to be unpleasant.
