Beautiful apartment and location

No key in key box on arrival - 6 apartments in block but not given name on door - sorted within 1 hours but very annoying Dirty glasses

Very large, comfortable & well-equipped (especially for longer stay), clean apartment - nicely decorated & cozy. Great place for exploring Ortigia - in the Centro Storico, close to Castello & Piazza Duomo. Friendly, helpful owner!

The apartment is well positioned, in the very historical part of Ortigia island, with sea views from the balcony. It is an apartment in an old house where the locals live. It gives you a completely different feel than staying in a hotel. This is genuine :-) We loved it. The keys were in a security box with a code, which you will receive before you arrive. Mira will send it to you. The only little issue we had, was finding the address, but it took us only a few extra moments to locate the right house. The photos of the apartment's interior are not misleading, only a few scratches and old and partly broken window blinds are not visible in the photos, but to us, this was not a problem. There is a balcony and a roof terrace (which we did not use as it was too hot):-).

Now days the issue is that too many professionals photos not really provide customer a real look and feel for the site. Therefore photos are misleading by far.
