Quirky & Comfortable Residence

Our host, Rose, was excellent from the very beginning. She provided clear information about what to expect and shared plenty of useful recommendations that helped make our stay truly memorable. The property was immaculate and exceptionally well maintained. As the owner of a cleaning business, I pay close attention to cleanliness standards, and I genuinely could not fault the property. The cleaners clearly take great pride in their work and know exactly what they are doing. My wife and our two daughters loved every aspect of the property, especially having a television in their room, which was a lovely touch. Rose was also very accommodating and kindly extended our checkout time by an hour without hesitation. The property had everything you would expect to find in a comfortable home, and there was absolutely nothing lacking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-equipped place to stay.

Confort,curat,elegant!

Our host, Rose, seemed to have thought of everything! The house was immaculately clean and extremely well-presented. The shower was hot and had a good flow, with a riser rail set at the right height for small and tall people. The kitchen area was small but perfectly formed and had everything we could possibly need, including a dishwasher which was a bonus. As we had dogs with us, there were plenty of blankets to protect the furniture so we didn’t have to worry if they jumped up on it. The house was also cosy and warm and the heating was very responsive with an easy to use thermostat to control the temperature. Bedding was very good and there were plenty of towels. I was amazed at how quiet it was, considering it is very close to the centre of Workington AND the train station! We didn’t have any difficulty parking and most of the time there was a space right outside the house. The wall decor was lovely and is definitely quirky - my husband commented that it’s like a mini Museum of Modern Art! In summary, I am quite a critical guest and I know what excellent looks like. Quirky but Comfortable is an exemplar of excellence.

I cannot think of anything else Rose could have done to make us and our pets feel more comfortable.

The hosts were friendly and responded really quick. The home was beautifully decorated, so clean and cosy. It had everything you needed and the beds were very comfortable. The property was also dog friendly, we all had such a lovely stay 😊

Nothing, it was perfect.

It was brilliant! Everything we needed and more. Plenty of room for a family of four and the host was friendly and went above and beyond. Decorated to a high standard and the kids loved playing ‘spot the cat’. The house is in walking distance to the local town and an easy drive to Keswick. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Very minor thought - It was a very cold weekend - property was very cold when we arrived. we did have the access to the manual and sorted it - and was soon toasty.

Beautifully decorated Everything and more you need

Lovely clean property and very stylish Ideal location for where we wanted.

The bathroom was downstairs which wasn’t advertised and as my mum only has 10% vision and is 79 she had to sleep on the sofa as she couldn’t manage the stairs to the toilet.
