Quirky & Comfortable Residence

Lovely and modern, very clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Parking is available in the street after 6pm but before then would need to park round the corner but you’re ok to park up and take out luggage etc. lovely addition s like party ring biscuits and the hot chocolate bar/shelf. Would defo recommend.

Very minor thing! The bathroom is in the ground floor so anyone with mobility issues might struggle using the toilet on an evening as bedrooms are upstairs. Also. A toaster? We made it using the grill on the oven so again, very minor but might be something for owners to think about to elevate even more?

Gorgeous property and I felt safe and comfortable

Nothing could be better but I would say if you have any mobility issues the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep.

Beautifully decorated throughout, we loved it! Lovely bed linens and plenty of towels was really appreciated by us all. Rose was super responsive to any requests and provided lots helpful information for check in/out - thank you so much!

The mattress was a little soft for us, but that’s personal choice and would be perfect for other people.

The house was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean! The bed is one of the comfiest beds I have slept in, The house is small but very comfortable and has everything you need for a stay. The location is walking distance to the town centre where there is plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and would return in the future.

We loved this house. It was so cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, including hair straighteners! We had a great laugh at all the funny little pictures, especially the one in the bathroom. My kids were delighted with the hot chocolate station and the roald dahl collection, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. The location was great for visiting the lake district but also convenient for shops and places to eat. It was also very quiet and we all had a good night sleep. The host was really helpful and friendly and suggested a place for us to visit that wasnt too far away. Convenient parking.
