Liked the spacious house with lots of bedrooms,was very clean,staff member on front desk where we collected key next door was extremely helpful,house very comfortable would highly recommend house

Road outside was extremely loud with traffic (obviously not the owners fault) Back door area was very dirty with cigarette butt's on ground but again not owners fault as there was lots of building work going on behind house it could of been builders.Bathrooms a little dated but in perfect working order

The bunk beds were comfortable and the staff were polite enough, location was pretty handy.

The shower never worked, drains were blocked, toilet still had ongoing work to wall showing.

Location was good.

Water kept getting air locked. So no shower bathroom sinks works until someone called to sort. Took time and was annoying.

"Terrible, damp hovel...do not book"

Do not book this accommodation. It is down a dirty, damp Lane full of building materials. The 'studio' stunk of damp, the windows were all rusted up, full of condensation. I couldn't stay there. I asked for the manager, but none onsite! I asked for someone to call me but they never returned any of my calls. Do not book this place as it was worse than terrible

Dirty yard on entry, this is not a 'cottage' but a hovel, stinking of damp, rotten windows and absolutely no management, they literally don't care. I gave them the opportunity to respond to my queries and they did nothing. The owner, Michael Bambrick, has a few other accommodation sites around Kilkenny, Troysgate guesthouse being one ...AVOID
