quiet location. Only suitable if you have transport.

Maumere airport was shut and could not get a discount of our first night.

The room is just straight by the beach, it is very handy if we love the beach and love swimming.

It was a bit far from main center of the city, needs taxiif would like to go out for a bit shopping, taste different food or go to different restaurant.

It’s very quiet as it’s further from the road than most places and they don’t have chickens etc. Friendly staff! Room pretty clean.

Average place to stay for the price. We wanted AC so options were slim, we paid 450 for an AC room here and the hot water didn’t even work. Only a sheet on the bed, we like something heavier when sleeping. We had no other options for food, so we ate here both days and everything we tried was well below average. Gado-gado overcooked veggies with hardly any peanut sauce and when we asked for more they said we had to pay half of the meal for more sauce. Pizza very disappointing (I guess to be expected).

We enjoyed the quiet, forested, and flower garden location by the seashore. Nice breeze and beautiful views. The pool is an extra bonus and kept clean with a shaded sitting area or sun if you desired. A lot of seating options outside by the beach and decent snorkelling offshore (but you need experience with reading the reef break and currents/tides). Very excellent service by Stefan and Rideau, who both speak excellent English. Quality food.

Many mosquitoes so bring your bugspray!

The breakfast was very good. They even had skippy peanut butter :)). Muamere itself is not that tourstic ,, location is good if you just want to chill ,,,u cant do anything the sea is not suitable for swimming but the hotel has free sunbeds on sandy beach. Very beautiful place :))

Very quite the whole area and no wifi in the room.

We liked the fact it was a very quiet location but just be aware of this if you do want to explore.

This resort is fantastic, and exceptional value for money. The rooms and food are great and the staff are fantastic. This was my third visit to Maumere / Flores and we will definitely be staying at Budi Sun again when we return.
