Easiness of checking in and explaining the rules

The little cabin was cozy. It was affordable and in a great location. The bathrooms were not too far away. The mini fridge was perfect for us for just a two night stay. The a/c was appreciated since it was warm outside. I also liked that parking was right in front of it.

The mattress protector on the loft mattress had some stains on it. We had brought our own blankets and sheets so that made it better. My sisters did not like my pick as it did not have its own bathroom so they wanted to upgrade but I thought it was fine.

The "cottage" kitchen was well-equipped and very nicely done. There was coffee supplied for the single-cup coffee maker.

While furnished, the sofa was very low and difficult for me (older senior with bad knees) to get up from it. There also was no small table or surface next to it. The table and chairs were tall bar height, also not great for comfort. The bed was okay but, again, very low.

The location is great for getting to nearby places, centrally location without being in a town!

Unfortunately, Booking.com did not disclose the no linens provided policy nor did I choose what cabin I stayed in so much to my surprise upon showing up, there were no sheets on the bed and also no in-unit bathroom. It was also not clean and had an odor (which I figured out was a dog treat/bone under the bed), being the night before the half marathon, I didn’t have many options since many places were fully booked. I’m sure it would be lovely if you had your own camper or were prepared but I, unfortunately, was not.
