The room was nice, the location is great, and the breakfast was genuinely lovely — but none of that makes up for the fact that we were not told there would be a full‑on disco blasting music until midnight. The noise was so loud it completely ruined the stay. This isn’t a small detail you forget to mention; it’s something guests absolutely need to know before booking. We would never have booked had we been informed. For a hotel to keep this quiet and let people find out the hard way is really unacceptable.

The food was excellent.

The staff at the hotel were all fabulous - really helpful and friendly. The restaurant was superb for breakfast, lunch and dinner - we tried all. The location is perfect - right in town centre. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Bed was a bit small for me, but I am 6'1"! Fine for wife. Our room was right over the DJ on both the Friday and Saturday nights. Disco went on until midnight. This was not a problem for us and we were warned by hotel when we checked in, and they offered to move us to a higher room. Just pointing this out if it is a big consideration for your stay.
