Maison absolument magnifique avec une deco soignée et rafinée. Personnel discret et à l'écoute de la moindre demande. La literie est exceptionnelle, le petit dejeuner très bien, salle de gym, salle de massage, piscine chauffée ... difficille de faire la liste des points positifs ! en un mot : Parfait

Surtout ne rien changer !

What a wonderful stay! Absolutely nothing was lacking. The exceptional hospitality of the staff was truly remarkable. The house looks exactly as shown in the photos – simply beautiful. Highly recommended!

This villa is INCREDIBLE! it has been so well thought out with everything you could possibly need. The interiors are gorgeous and all the little details like the water bottles by the beds are just beautiful. The breakfast and other meals were delicious. The staff were so friendly but not imposing. We were a group of 8 (4 adults 4 teens) and we had so much space. the pool was also just the right size and depth. Baija cooks a yummy breakfast every morning alongside Sahim. They also cleaned all the rooms and made all the beds every day. There is a gardener/guard called Hamid who arrived every evening to tidy away the sun loungers and close the pool, he then stays in a small building by the gate so we felt very safe and secure. Special shout out to him, when the kids ball went over the wall he went over to get it for them. Our top tips would be: if you like a tipple buy it in duty free then just get mixers in the shops as it's very expensive and alcohol is not sold in all shops. no alcohol sold on Fridays. Plan your days if you want to go to the beach etc. as it is more of a day trip due to the transfers. 100% do the quad biking its EPIC! The fish market is an experience but just be careful with how much you pay they see tourists coming a mile off. also brace yourself for the smell of seagulls poop. We loved exploring the Medina and felt very happy and comfortable but there are (friendly) cats and dogs EVERYWHERE! so wear sensible shoes and watch your step. we almost stepped on a tiny kitten. Essaouira is very windy at times but still warm so just pack a jacket for those windy evenings. We didn't get any bites or anything but there are lots of flies, to be expected in Africa, especially on those calmer hotter days.

Location, it really is just a bit far from anything. Not walking distance. But the hosts were great at helping to arrange transportation, just factor that into your budget. Some of the beds were a tad firm but you get that travelling anywhere. All the robes seemed to be child size so we couldn't wear them. The approach of the villa was not what we expected and it's very off the beaten track, literally a dirt track. But the family who live outside seemed friendly enough and once you are in the villa you forget about the outside world because it's such an oasis. we loved baijas cooking but found the menu a tad limiting for my son who is vegetarian. the breakfast is yummy but repetiive. No air con downstairs so it was very hot of an evening when we would play cards, as it was too windy to play outside. If we opened the doors the GIGANTIC moths came in but we managed. Lastly (our fault entirely being lazy ignorant brits) we struggled with the language barrier, but if you speak French you will be fine.
