The Vogue Lodge

Everything was immaculate! Where to start, firstly Lucas is the most generous and hospitable host. He took care of us throughout our stay making sure we had everything we needed. The small touches throughout the lodge from the fresh eggs, bacon, bread, milk and more made us feel so welcome and there were even some lovely face masks for guests to enjoy in the bathroom. We loved meeting all of the animals and even got a chance to bottle feed the two lambs which made the trip even more special. The lodge is very clean and waking up to the most gorgeous view in the morning was like a dream. The area is beautiful, with lots of lovely walks/hikes available on your doorstep but we just loved the lodge itself so much that we didn't want to venture out for too long! Next time we will book longer so that we can fully enjoy the local area too! The hot tub was a welcome addition and we adored spending the evening relaxing with a few drinks just enjoying the view. We also brought our dog with us and Lucas provided bowls, treats and a blanket to make him feel comfortable. He had the best time meeting all the animals and running around on the farm. If you're looking for a home away from home, we couldn't recommend the Vogue Lodge enough. It was perfect from start to finish!

Lucas was amazing!! So attentive and friendly, the Lodge was beautiful, and the views/animals were an added bonus. We've booked our next stay already, looking forward to returning 🥰

Amazing stay!! Thank you Lucas for being so friendly and going out of your way to make us feel welcome. We had the most incredible time. Lucas brought us eggs, milk juice and bread all complimentary and the facilities were more than you could expect! There were plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub, speaker, robes and flip flops. Will 100% be returning thank you so much

Nothing bad to say

The owner had simply thought of everything to ensure a luxurious stay from the robes for the hot tub to the fresh produce supplied. The attention to detail was exceptional. Beautiful rural setting surrounded by sheep, lamas, peacocks and chickens (just to name a few of the animals on the farm) . Looking forward to returning!!

That I had to go home, I would have liked to stay longer.

Nothing, everything was beautiful

Loved the location of where it’s set. Enjoyed that it was very quiet outside despite there being lots of animals around. The bed was very comfortable. The whole lodge was well equipped and the welcoming package of bread, eggs, orange juice and milk etc made it more special as well as shower gel, the robes for the hot tub, towels specifically for the hot tub and the hot tub itself made it that much more relaxing. Definitely will be coming back at some point this year. More than likely in the summer.

The sofa was a little bit firm, but wasn’t much of an issue.
