Riad Blue Oasis

It was in an amazing location, and all the areas of the riad were spotless and very nicely decorated. The room we stayed in was very large and extremely clean, with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary equipment a guest might need (hairdryer, shampoo, towels daily, toilet paper, etc.). Lastly, I must mention the INCREDIBLE host, Khalid El Malki. By far, the best hospitality and service we have ever experienced in all our travels over the years. Very polite and helpful, with a high proficiency in English, which made us feel that we had someone by our side for anything we might need. We had daily communication with Khalid via WhatsApp, where he sent us travel tips and any assistance or questions we had, he was immediately there for us. What I've mentioned about the host Khalid is only a fraction, but to sum up, this accommodation is the best you can book in Fez with this level of service, location, and price. Thank you for your great services, hope to meet again in the next summer.

The location is very good but the very best is Khaled, who is managing the riad. He is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and shares insights of Fez, you would normally book a tour guide for. He really made the stay to something special.

The location of the Riad Blue Oasis is ideal if you want to regularly walk through the Medina. We stayed 4 nights which was definitely enough. The shower was adequate, but as was common, occupied a small badly designed wet room. The breakfast food on the first day was nice, but as it was the same for each day, it got boring and was very dough-heavy. Recommend changing it each day if possible. The coffee and tea quality and size need improvement, especially for Westerners.

The Wi-Fi was not strong or fast, despite the multiple access points. There was no table in the bedroom in which to adequately use a computer.

Nice location, nice and attentive staff.

We had a small issue with our first room, but they resolved it and went above and beyond to make it up.

Qhalid our host was amazing - Such a lovely young man who really went out of his way to look after us. He gave us a map and directions for a self guided tour of the Medina and lots of helpful advice. Location was perfect.

The bathroom could have done with a renovation!
