Great place!

Great boutique property with cute pool, friendly staff and a very decent breakfast included.... I'd stay here again!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel interior is gorgeous. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The pool was perfect and always quiet. The breakfast selection was great. There was nothing even remotely negative about the whole trip. We hope to stay again one day!

A fantastic boutique hotel, with the most incredibly helpful staff. The rooms were fantastic and they were cleaned every day, which we didnt expect. The breakfast included was again more than we expected and there was a great choice as well. The pool area at the top the hotel was again a nice area to relax and was spotless and there was a small bar to enjoy drinks and snacks. Once again I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The staff are a credit to their company and a special thanks to Sandtosh for looking after me and wife at Breakfast time.

The San Karlu exceeded all of my hopes, with its location in the heart of old town Valletta. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to holiday in an historic, beautifully renovated building with a nice pool and in walking distance to almost all of Valletta, particularly restaurants and bars.

I had an amazing stay at San Karlu! The location is perfect—just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the main bus stop and close to bars, restaurants, and the main square of Veleta. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I especially want to thank Florianne, who was so helpful with recommendations and guidance on using public transport. The hotel itself is spotless and offers great amenities. The swimming pool was a highlight—perfect for cooling off in Malta’s heat—and there’s a bar and food service if you feel like lounging by the pool all day. Breakfast was lovely, and overall, the experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Superb hotel! So convenient for the centre of Valletta but very quiet to get to sleep easily. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve been to. Beautiful rooftop pool to relax by, with a lovely bar to quench any thirst. Will definitely return to this most friendly home from home. Thank you!
