Maison Twenty Six made us feel truly at home from the very first moment. We were welcomed with so much care and attention, and throughout our stay we felt genuinely looked after, as if we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel. The food was absolutely delicious thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and a real highlight of our experience. The location is also perfect, allowing you to easily explore Pondicherry while enjoying a peaceful and comfortable retreat. A beautiful place filled with history, warmth, kindness, and great taste we would happily come back.

The mosquitos ;-)

Beautifully restored and decorated old French Pondicherry home was a feast for the eyes. Delicious breakfast, kind and attentive staff could not do enough. A wonderful walking tour was arranged for us with Mr. Ashok Panda from the Indian National Trust.

Hard mattress could do with a mattress topper. The hot water in the bathroom lasts 5 minutes - need a larger water tank.

Excellent Heritage Property

The property is a stunning heritage house that has been beautifully preserved/restored. Fabulous location and staff who cater for your every need. The breakfast was delicious and kept us going for most of the day. We came back with a new found love of idli and dosa's!

Lots of mosquito's which is no fault of the property but they are well stocked with repellants and mozzie zappers!
