ITLa location è un po difficile da trovare, perché il GPS non riconosce la posizione! Non bellissima ma l'ospitalità e la cortesia del padrone di casa non hanno prezzo.
Difficile trovare la location!!

ITOttimo B&B, bellissimo posto in campagna. Consigliato per gli amanti degli animali, in quanto abitano lì dei cani molto socievoli, cavalli e altri animali da cortile. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Buona colazione a buffet (torta di mele fatta in casa molto buona). Molto consigliato.

USMy entire stay at La Maison Rouge was beyond exceptional. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed, cared for, and honestly, like I was at home. The kindness and attentiveness of the hosts made all the difference—they were always available for anything I needed, and treated me with such warmth that I truly felt spoiled in the best possible way. The room exceeded all my expectations: it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and very convenient—everything was always clean and well-maintained. Every little detail was thought out with care. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and complete, with a variety of options that made each morning something to look forward to. Another beautiful surprise was the presence of their adorable animals—I had the chance to pet them, and it added a very special, peaceful touch to my experience. I leave Bologna with my heart full, deeply grateful for this stay. The city is now one of my favorite places in the world, and La Maison Rouge is a big reason why. I’m already counting the days to come back—next time, with my entire family, because I want them to experience the same magic I did. To the wonderful hosts: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made this trip unforgettable. You have created a place that is much more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to feel loved.
One small thing I would like to mention—not as a complaint, but as helpful advice for future guests from outside the European Union: if you're planning to rent a car in Italy and your driver's license is from a non-EU country, make sure to bring an international driving permit. I forgot to get mine, so I wasn’t able to rent a car during my stay. Since La Maison Rouge is not located on the main road, having a car would have been convenient. That said, it wasn’t a problem at all thanks to Giorgio, one of the incredible hosts. Every single day, no matter the time, he kindly picked me up at the bus stop at the beginning of the road leading to La Maison Rouge. I had to travel daily to the Gelato University during my 6-day stay, and thanks to his generosity, transportation was always smooth, comfortable, and without any issues.

LVBeautiful paintings and antique furniture and interior.
Very bad, muddy driveway, impossible to drive in with a low car. The area around the house was very untidy. Due to repairs, the heating in the house was not working. It was very cold, because the outside temperature at night was +2°t. We slept with outerwear on. There was no hot water. There was no opportunity to wash. There was no toilet paper in the toilet, the mirror was dirty, and there were two nasty insects on the wall. I believe that the owner had no right to receive guests if he knew that repairs were being made and the house was not heated. The breakfast was bad. We were in this house for 4 nights. The heating was turned on on the last evening and the heat started to appear in the morning. The landlady was not shy and wanted another 240.00Eur from us for an extra bed for a child. After negotiations, we agreed that we would not pay an additional fee. I paid 264.76EUR for this accommodation on BOOKING. That is lost money. The child has a cold and is sick.
GRA charming place where we felt welcome.
Hard to find in the dark. Went around half an hour in the surroundings. You can't see the house from the road and the sign is standing a bit in ti the small road.
ITI've traveled a lot and stayed in many B&Bs and hotels - I've never experienced hosts this amazing. I am very thankful for the highly accomodating hosts. Also, the breakfast cake they baked was AMAZING and I will certainly miss it! The property itself is a beautiful old farm house that is a beautiful journey into a simpler past time, but complete with modernities such as TV and WiFi ;-)
Nothing not to like!
