Niektórych może przerazić wejście do budynku i klatka schodowa. Czysto, ale okresowo był nieprzyjemny zapach z kanalizacji (problem starego budynku, nie kwestia czystości)

Matteo war ein guter Gastgeber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist Mitten in der Altstadt von Palermo was uns sehr gefallen hat, weil dadurch die Wege zu Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. sehr kurz waren. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr individuell und gut, dazu waren die Zimmer recht gross. Aktuell (Stand Ende Sept. 2025) werden in der Staße in einer grösseren Aktion mehrere Fassaden an Gebäuden saniert, u.a. auch an dem Gebäude in dem sich die Wohnung befindet. Enstsprechend ist fast der gesamte Strassenzug entsprechend eingerüstet und mit Schutznetzen versehen. Es kommt zu keiner grossartigen Lärmbelästigung, nur durch das Gerüst und dem Schutznetz gibt es weniger Tageslicht in der Wohnung. Uns haben die Sanierungsarbeiten nicht gestört, da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren und meistens erst im dunkeln in die Wohnung zurück gekehrt sind. Matteo hat uns über die Sanierungsaktivitäten im Vorfeld informiert und uns eine kostenlose Stornierungsmöglichkeit angeboten.

Great location and host helpful.

Site is a building site and who knows could be another year! Host only advised of"scaffolding" a week b4 arrival too late for us. Roomy but very tired. Bathrooms have sewerage smell.

The position and the space. Matteo is an asset to this property. He is super responsive, a wealth of knowledge and happy to go the extra mile. Recommendations were appreciated.

Need to give a bit more amenities in the line of cupboards or shelves.

O acesso ao apartamento e a área circundante devido ao facto de o apartamento estar num prédio bastante antigo e num beco que não será para toda todas as pessoas que procuram a Sicília para uma estadia com mais glamour

We were warned of work outside the apartment prior to arriving and accepted to stay. However, there was work being conducted above the apartment we were in, and this started at 1130pm. through to 0330am. Forget sleeping! The pictures displayed on booking.com are very 'generous', to say the least. I would describe it as a 'whitewash', but you decide for yourself, IF you book.

We were met on arrival, everything went very smoothly. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The location is great -- you can walk to everything in Palermo.

The apartment is in the historical center, in an excellent position. You can go everywhere by foot. Some reviewers have commented about being uncomfortable about the location. It is in an alley, very typical of this part of town. The alley is not pristine, but people live and work there. We went out and returned late at night and never felt unsafe. Matteo provided us with a ride from the airport and checked on us throughout our stay. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We had a great vacation.

The water pressure and temperature in the showers was a bit erratic.

The apartment was located perfectly close to a lot of restaurants and lovely shops (but because of the location in a side street absolutely quiet during the night) and also easy to walk to the port and train station. The furniture was modern but still really cozy. Matteo was a great host! I can highly recommend to stay at Matteo’s apartment!
