Everything was perfect. The lodge is beautiful with amazing views 😍

Kept very clean. Maintenance man was very helpful. Hot tub was in good condition

The heating wasn’t working but we were given electric heaters which done the trick. Also there was nowhere to put clothes e.g. wardrobe or large enough drawers.

Room was amazing bed was a great sleep and hot tub was amazing and at temperture for us arriving

The hearing was working but wher provided with two electric heaters which heated the room nicely after a while

Loved the hot tub and the decoration/aesthetic of the lodge.

Wasn’t sure if heating was on, as radiators were not on even at full blast and had no hot water in the shower the second day.

Was a lovely place very clean and tidy was perfect for a wee quite getway

I had the most amazing stay. The lodge was beautiful & so was the view & surroundings. The lodge has everything you need. I have booked again & will keep doing so 🥰

There was nothing to dislike

Was definitely an experience to remember that was no fault of the hotel. We travelled up during storm Floris then we accidentally drove past the reception on to a private track road. Once we realised our mistake a good few trees fell down blocking our route back. We contacted the staff member Matthew who came to rescue us. He tried to cut the trees away but his saw broke down then we had to abandon our car because more trees and power lines were coming down. So he offered to take us in his car. As we were arriving trees fell on to the hotel cabins and the power went out. Fortunately no one was injured and Matthew stayed calm making sure everyone was accounted for and safe. This meant management had no choice and had to ask everyone to leave because it wasn’t safe and the property was damaged. So we were stuck since we couldn’t get the car. But Matthew stayed with us till we could get transport back home. The next day Matthew let us know that we could get our car back. I mentioned that we’d like to come back as we were disappointed we couldn’t get our wee break away. Matthew then called me back and managed us to book us in the upgraded pods the next day which we gladly accepted. As we arrived back Matthew was very welcoming and left us a box of chocolates on the bed which didn’t last long  We really enjoyed our stay over the couple of days. Very clean, peaceful , pod was nicely equipped and the hot tub was brilliant. We will definitely be back as Matthew went above and beyond to sort us out even though none of this was the hotels fault. Top service fae Matthew 👍 Top tips, don’t travel up during a wind storm and don’t drive past the reception on to the private road 👍
