Authentic Japanese-style room, very clean, good service, morning coffee and pastries, very good location. A tad small for 3 people, but I appreciated that they accommodated our adult son to keep the family together and not have to pay for a separate room, which was a cost-savings.

Nothing to dislike!

Location is great. The property is located on a quiet street but you can get to main areas in Gion very quickly. Also easy access to both Sanjo & Gion subway stations. Seven Eleven two doors down. The room was nicely designed & had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay again if visiting Kyoto.

Some Rooms were small but well designed.

Really loved this place - the room was beautiful, serene, quiet and tranquil, in a perfect location. I also loved the pyjama set in the room - I ended up buying several sets for my family! Wearing it back home now always brings back nice memories. There is no breakfast included, but we got fresh delicious croissants in the morning and there is a great little nespresso machine in the room - actually didn’t need more… would love to come back one day.

One of our absolute favorite stays during our two weeks in Japan. Miru Kyoto Gion completely won us over from the moment we arrived. The location is incredible, tucked right into Gion with easy walks to temples, shops, and cafés, plus quick access to the subway when we wanted to explore farther. The hotel itself is gorgeous, a true boutique gem with thoughtful design in every corner. The staff were so genuinely kind and helpful, and the breakfast croissants with coffee, tea, and juice were the perfect start to each morning. Our room was a haven at the end of long days, with incredibly comfy bedding and a beautiful bathroom. We would return in a heartbeat.
