Beautiful Hotel at the top spot in Gion, tasteful, luxirious, everything seems carefully selected. Big bathroom.

Bed for single person was only 1m wide.

The location is truly great - both convenience wise and atmosphere wise. The hotel seemed to pay attention to details. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Surprisingly not all of the reception staff was Japanese. Normally I wouldnโ€™t have any issue with that, but in the very heart of the old capital traditional Gion district it felt a little immersion breaking.

excellent location with very helpful staff. They have a washer/dryer on site which was helpful to get clothes cleaned. They don't serve breakfast but have croissants and hot drinks available in the lobby from 7 am to 10 am

no views, but we are in Gion!
