Vale House by Switchback Stays

The property was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, pans etc. Nice, small garden to sit in too. Parking was easy and was easy to get the bus to town.

Everything worked, but the bathroom could be updated, with a more powerful shower.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped! Excellent communication, helpful host.

Wow....that was amazing. Enjoyed our stay at Vale. The house was superb 👌. Definitely coming back to stay there.

Area could have been a bit better. Thermostat set to 28 when arrived so boiling. Only one thermostat downstairs, no thermostat valves on radiators so heating either on or off . Bedroom so hot needed open window but neighbors bit noisy so needed earplugs. One loo bit of challenge for 5, stairs precarious at night so leave light on. Please update the instructions- no longer gas oven and how to use coffee machine would be handy

I had a very lovely stay at Vale House ! Our room was so cosy and was impressed with how clean everything was. Me and my colleague both had a great time and will definitely be back. The location was also convenient for my stay and easy to locate :)

No was perfect!

Quiet area, comfortable beds. Parking on street - busy, but possible in daytime to park close to property. Close enough to city centre. Nice decor, dark heavy curtains in bedrooms. Pluses - coffee pod machine, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Nice private garden area. Issues - we had a few problems during our stay- but Claire was speedy in responding, and resolved what she could practically and fairly.

Negative- no plug socket available in back double bedroom (the one with double against wall). A battery alarm clock, or phone is needed if you use this room. Parking at night time - was very busy when we went and had to park far along the street. (Inconvenience really, rather than bad issue)
