The Garden Room

It was quiet and clean. I only stayed for a few hours before continuing my journey to London. The bed was comfy and super clean. Gorgeous. I didn’t see the owner or use the bathroom so I don’t know what that was like. Sure it was all fine. For an overnight and a god price it was perfect.

A room with its own access at the back of a suburban house, in a quiet area with no traffic noise. Very clean and comfortable, with good wifi. Good value for money.

There's a small supermarket not too far away, but not much else; the town centre is some 20 minutes walk. You share the bathroom with the owner. But neither of these was a major issue, and there were no real problems.

The room was lovely, comfory bed , the room was spacious and with access to a lovely garden. WiFi was a bonus I hadn't expected. Stef was very friendly and available to help with local information if needed. Refreshments also provided.

Our visit was very pleasant. Stef made us feel very welcome and opened up her home to us. We did not spend a lot of time in the room but it was well appointed and with a bonus refreshments tray I had not expected.

My only disappointment was that the bathroom was upstairs in the main house. I felt bad about walking through the house in the early hours after returning from the party we were there for. The following morning I had a very interesting conversation with the host’s granddaughter regarding my visit to the bathroom!

The most comfortable and cosy room I've stayed in. Nicely furnished and spacious. Felt very at home. Stef and her partner were very welcoming.
