Location

My recent stay at this so-called "luxury" accommodation was an absolute nightmare. The reality of the room was the complete opposite of what was advertised. The first and most horrifying discovery was finding cockroaches crawling on our bed. Yes, actual cockroaches crawling on the bed where we were supposed to sleep (image shown below). This was beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable—something that should never happen, let alone in a place claiming to be luxurious. The room was nothing like the photos; it was shockingly small and utterly claustrophobic. It felt like we were staying in a cramped closet rather than the spacious, well-lit room shown in the images. To make matters worse, the ladder leading to the upper beds was broken and extremely dangerous (image shown below). It was a serious safety hazard, and I can't believe it hadn't been fixed before our arrival. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in any accommodation, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. It's not worth the risk or disappointment.

The location was very good. The building inside was very run down, however, the apartment itself was beautiful.

I did not like that it was in a run down building. The building itself needed renovations and upkeep. I did not like that the host did not contact us to see if there was anything we needed during our stay. The ladder to reach the upstairs bed needed fixing and the air conditioning was not working (or we did not know how to use it considering there were no instructions). Overall, the apartment had everything we needed, a kitchenette, a washroom and 2 comfortable beds. It was a good stay and met our needs.

There’s only stairs so carrying suitcases up the stairs was difficult. The lobby is also quite dirty.

The apartment was really beautifully done and so comfortable. Loved the high roof and layout. The bed was really comfortable. It was in a great location, right at the edge of the centre and close to the bus stops.

Unfortunately there isn't much sound-proofing and cars could be heard outside, as well as people in the streets. We were also woken up by other guest entering the building and talking in the passage outside the door. This hindered our sleep quite badly.

You can check in anytime as you need to open the lock box to get the keys. Codes are provided before you check-in. The downstairs double bed was very comfortable and the facilities were great. They provided towels, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee pods, tea, and water. The TV had YouTube which was nice, but no Netflix or Disney if you wanted to chill at the accommodation for a few hours. The shower pressure was great and everything looked pretty modern as well which was a plus. Great location.

The bed on the mezzanine was made up of two single beds which were quite uncomfortable if you were to try and sleep on it as a double. The duvet is a bit thin for us, but there were extra blankets you could use and an AC unit that you could put up higher for comfort. We did get the information about our check-in pretty late, but the response time once we asked was pretty quick. Just a notice to new people, the islands in Greece require you to not flush the paper down the toilet and put it in the bin instead. No luggage storage option which was a bit of a bummer.
