That was a very nice stay, the hosts were caring and nice. Very recommended to stay. It’s closer to a Dhamma Kuta vipassana center, so for me it was comfortable to stay before meditation

The idea is very good, it's a spacy room with all you need. But...

...you really need a deep sleep, the outdoorlight is on the whole night so it's bright like on daytime inside. The street is very loud, you hear it as you'd sleep outside.

"Nicer than Kandy (city)"

Another wonderful stay at Ella Way Resort, as always. My number one place to be whenever I am in Kandy district. Sublime hospitality and lovely ambience in a beautiful area at a reasonable price. (Tip: take the bus to Kandy - that is, if you really have to 🤭 - right in front of Ella Way Resort at almost any time for 80 LKR only and enjoy the local atmosphere) The hosts always endeavour to keep the room clean and tidy, the fruit fresh and the disturbance to a minimum. I could ask them many favours such as a spare umbrella, sun hat, mirror etc. Even storing books for quite some time was no problem. However, it should be mentioned that this place is pretty much a homestay where you stay on the ground floor while the family lives on the 1st floor. So, if you mind a little noise every now and then because of children you should probably.. become a better person - try meditation - the meditation center is not far! 😄
