Old Post Office

Martina was an excellent host and responded immediately to any of our queries. She provided tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc on arrival which was very much appreciated. Facilitated us with the use of her shed for bikes and advised us on places to see. Easily heated, cosy, very clean property with tasteful decor throughout. Would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Outdoor stairs may not suit everyone.

The Old Post Office is in a wonderful location, with Linsfort Beach just a short walk down the little road opposite. Additionally, there are lovely country walks all around. There is a little supermarket a few hundred yards away. The OPO itself is a carefully restored heritage building and Martina (the host) is very kind and helpful. Go and stay - especially if sea and country air is your thing. You will totally love it.

Absolutely nothing

This is a perfect place to stay to discover Inishowen. The location is perfect. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated and had all appliances and facilities you could want. What makes this accommodation really special is the obvious love and attention to detail the owners have taken to bring this lovely old post office back to life and in the process saved an important piece of Irish architecture and local history. Martina and her husband could not have been more friendly and helpful. Any question was quickly answered and they gave some great recommendations for food which we tried out on our visit. I would highly recommend staying here and will certainly return in the future.

Accommodation was perfect.

A tastefully renovated house with everything you'd need for three to four people. We were welcomed very kindly by the landlady and during our stay she was always ready to recommend restaurants and side trips. There's a stunning beach, a pub and a grocery store in walking distance of the house.

An absolutely beautiful property and very comfortable. Spotless.! Host is a lady.!

Bathroom tiny bit small but that was just personal preference as I ve a partner and teenage son who are quite tall !!

The property was a cosy and clean place, situated just a few minutes away from beautiful beaches, it is close to a shop and just a few minutes drive from Buncrana town. There is plenty of exploring to do and is very much worth it. Martina provided all the essentials and ensured we would have a great stay. I cant recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning to this place for a holiday again.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property.

The property is beautifully decorated and was warm and inviting when we arrived. The bedrooms are spacious and the setting was idyllic! Would have loved to stay longer!
