Characterful 3 Bedroom Cottage

Location of the cottage is perfect, easy walking distance to the centre of Aberystwyth and we found the cottage a really good size for 6 adults and 1 baby. The beds were comfortable and the cottage has a lot of character, nicely decorated with everything you need. We visit Aberystwyth a few times a year to see family and would likely stay again.

We found a pie and some slices of cake in the kitchen cupboard which were mouldy, this was a little off putting but we did not use the kitchen for any cooking. Also this property is described as being in a quiet neighbourhood, however just 3 doors down is a pub which was incredibly lively both nights we stayed, this resulted in there being a lot of noise in the street until early hours of the morning and a few of us (including the baby) did struggle to sleep. We understand this cannot be helped but possibly the advert is a little misleading thinking it is a quiet area.

The property was very clean and spacious with a lovely cosy feel to it.

The kitchen was a little dark but otherwise it was great.

Clean and not cluttered. Lovely feel about the place and superb location.

Beautifully and sympathetically restored building, which is a home from home. Everything you could need and more was provided. Exceptionally clean and homely. Parking in the cute courtyard behind the property in a secure gated area is great. We know the area as here for our daughter’s graduation, close to everything in the town. Would definitely recommend and stay here when we return to Aberystwyth.

Very clean and well equipped with beautiful interior decor and thoughtful design. Attention to the remodeling details for this 300 year old historic house were amazing. Nice to be able to see the very old oak beams in the ceilings of each room.
