Vang Vieng Golden Dragon House

The room and bathrooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the common areas had a nice social feeling without being too loud. I loved the free water refills, the breakfast was genuinely good, and the location was super convenient, close to shops and easy to get around Vang Vieng. Wi-Fi was a little unstable sometimes, but overall it was one of the most comfortable hostel stays I’ve had.

The rooms were very spacious and had a good working ac. The breakfast was very tasty and the location was also great. We didn’t like the fact, that our room didn’t have a proper window. What bothered us the most was, that we weren’t informed beforehand about the ongoing pool renovations and the noise. Because of the ongoing work in the hostel, it wasn’t very social either. The host was kind and offered us a free cancellation.

It’s a really cute hostel, however they were doing pool renovations when I stayed so I couldn’t really hear anyone when talking to them. So if that would have been different this would have been perfect for me.

Kortterminalen fungerade ej under hela vistelsen (fyra dagar). Generellt är det cash som gäller överallt i Laos, men blev väldigt mycket pengar som behövdes tas ut när exempelvis en luftballongsfärd kostar över tre miljoner.
