The Garden Room

The wonderful Garden Room. I've come up from Norwich on a solo motorcycle trip, I wish I'd booked more time in this area to explore then I could have used this beautiful place as a base. So peaceful and everything you need for a few nights to get away. Very accommodating hosts. Thank you so much. I would love to stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Cosy place with thoughtful touches. Very well equipped.

My husband is a 6ft2 ex rugby player, the bathroom was a tight fit, but he managed well and it was great for 2 nights.

Cosy cabin, very well equipped in a central location. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. Recommended.

All facilities great. The pub round the corner very good.

It didn’t matter as we had one overnight stay, but outside space didn’t give any privacy from owners house.

The location was convenient to town. Although parking wasn't easy, it involved a short walk a little further down the street near the church. It was no problem for me as family provided transport. With only a 2 night-stay, I managed to walk to Knighton station when I returned home by train. The host's were friendly & welcoming. It was The Garden room was cosy, with a well equipped kitchen area. The room is delightfully colourful, decorated with artistic flair. A useful folder provided information about walks, pubs & tearooms in Knighton. I loved the pretty, little private garden with its shady, protected seating area. It would be lovely staying as a couple, although perfect for myself on my own. Walks in the area are ideal for ramblers & lovers of the countryside. Two nights was unfortunately not enough time to enjoy exploring the town, the facilities & walks in the countryside. The purpose of my visit was to attend a wedging at a popular countryside wedding venue only 8 minutes drive away The accommodation is a perfect stopover for 2-3 nights.

Perfect accommodation. On hot Summer days, it may be necessary to use a fan or alternatively keep the doors open for a flow of air. A tray would be useful as well as a small wooden corner shelf next to the headboard, just big enough for 2 mugs.

Perfect location 2 mins walk from my events based at the church, relaxing and. comfortable

All was great, except the little plastic fold up shelf next to the bed was broken. And the very hot water tap was a bit splashy!
