Musa's Homestay

Musa’s Homestay is a home away from home in Jodhpur. The team could not have done more to welcome me and ensure I was well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to key locations in Jodhpur.

Yhe room is beautiful and comfortable.

They try to play with your money, they try to extra charge you all the time for food and room. They charged me 30 rupies more for the room (without saying it), then, 20 more for breakfast, but the worst was lunch when the guy asked 700 for a 540 lunch. If you don't notice, they just make more money in not a nice and honourable way. I didn't like that. I took a room without AC, and it was warmer inside my room than outside because it had no windows, so I needed to keep the door open for ventilation. The toilet was also full of ants. It's a not too bad budget room. However, they should stop trying to get more money from the guest in an illegitimate way.

The rooftop of the homestay, which has a great view of the blue city, is a great place to sit and relax.  From there you can have a good view of the Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswant Thada and the Umaid Bhawan Palace.  With just a few minutes of walking, you can reach the Toorji Ka Jhalra Bavdi and the Ghanta Ghar Jodhpur and the Sardar Market , and with a little more walking you can reach the Jaswant Thada and the Mehrangarh Fort .  We arrived at the homestay around 5 am. but Musa and his staff welcomed us well and carried our heavy luggage to the roof and prepared a rest area for us, and quickly prepared one of our rooms before 9 am and they arried our heavy luggage to our room. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was perfect.  More important and valuable of all this is that Musa, is like a kind brother. He was with us until the last moment when we left the homestay and helped us to get a taxi, carry our luggage, and even when we arrived at the railway station and We found out that my laptop was left in the homestay we sent him a message, and he brought it to us quickly after a few minutes.

Everything was great, and the only thing that bothered us a little, which was not the fault of the homestay, was that in very early in the morning, one of the neighbors of the homestay was reading the Quran loudly and it made it a little difficult to sleep.

Nice roof terrace with a view to the Fort and where you could eat. Room good for a budget price
