Trulli del Sole

The location is more amazing than the picture on the website. Genuine wow factor when you turn up and double wow when you walk into the Trulli. Really well equipped and the hosts (Maria Donata and Andrea) couldn't have been more helpful if they tried - nothing was too much trouble from helping sort out taxis to getting us a few provisions for when we arrived. The Trulli is a little off the beaten track - which means it is beautifully peaceful and tranquil - but still only 10 mins from the delightful Martina Franca. If I could give this 6 stars I would. Amazing stay - 100% recommend.

We didn't stay long enough! Definitely on the return trip list for sure.

The Trulli is located near Martina Franca in a very charming and quiet place. The house itself is impressively spacious and keeps cool even when it’s 35+ outside! It was truly a pleasure to stay here and the hostess is very friendly and helpful and the welcoming basket was fantastic! Thank you again for a great stay!

The place is stunning! The house is beautiful, standing alone so you have all the privacy and calmness you need! It is furnished and decorated with a great taste that goes perfectly well with the traditional structure of the real trullo. This way you get the perfect combination of old and new without compromise. Maria Donata was a great hostess who made us feel immediately welcome, gave us tips for places to eat and see in the area, and made sure we had everything we needed. There was even a welcome basket full of fruit and pastry for breakfast that was more than generous! P.S. My bonus was to find some interesting books around the house. I started reading one of them and now I have to buy it as I absolutely need to know what happens next! :-D Thank you!

Everything was perfect! If I had to mention one thing - the caffettiera was too small to fit on the stove. It would require either a bigger moka or an additional reduction for the stove burner. In the end, it was not a problem as we used the coffee machine that was also provided, it is just a suggestion for improvement in case sb prefers the traditional way of making coffee. :)

Beautifully set up trulli with lovely decoration and details inside. Hosts were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. Food provided was plentiful and beds were comfortable.

Some bugs inside the trulli in the evenings, the trulli was a little hard to find with no reception around the property.

Cute building, clean and tidy inside.

When I book a place with a kitchen I expect to be able to use the stove and the pots and pans to be in a usable condition - this unfortunately didn’t happen here. No lighter for the stove top and the pots were scratched Teflon coated aluminium ones. No kettle, toaster or wine glasses.
