Casa Lago Batur

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Kettle and beverages in the room. Good WiFi connection. Daily breakfast menu could be better. I had fruit options and juice for my breakfast only and that was because I asked.

Smokers on the balcony with smoke coming into my room due to the design of the doors. An ant problem which can be sorted with some attention to it.

the sheet is heavily stained and rough. the bathroom emits a pungent odour throughout the day despite flushing etc.

View and activities. Specially the jeep to batur mountain to see the dawn.

Food is so limited. No menu. No one to clean room on daily base.

The view from the balcony is beautiful. The rooms are simple, and very comfortable. It’s a great location for hiking Mt Batur - you can walk to the start of the trail. The owner was really lovely and let us borrow some jackets because we didn’t realise how cold it would be.

The views from the window are amazing

It is very noisy at night due to the proximity to the road along which jeeps drive all night without a stop sign on the sunrise tour.

If got a tv will be perfect

The room itself is clean and spacious, and there is a beautiful view right outside. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Good value for money

The room is similar but not identical to the photos shown on Booking.com - outside the sliding door is not a private balcony but shared area with other guests. Not a fault of the property but the Kintamani region is riddled with flies - you must be extremely quick and careful to close the sliding door otherwise flies will enter and be a great nuisance. There are very few Grab services in the area, so best to have a private driver.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful

The room we booked had windows on 2 sides, we thought we would have a better view, they placed us in a room with only window on 1 side
