The place was very comfortable with nice furniture and very spacious. Will definitely choose this place again in the future. Nothing to dislike

First impressions were very positive. It was a lovely apartment, spacious, private, quiet and well-equipped, with plenty of crockery, glassware and storage space and a full-sized fridge-freezer. The decor looked fresh and the apartment was clean and tidy. The (unexpected!) second bedroom was set up as a study, which was ideal for us. The two ensuites were also a bonus (we only expected one) as was the easy (and free) parking. Shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, dish wash and laundry liquid were supplied along with pods for the coffee machine and tablets for the dishwasher. The apartment was conveniently situated for our purposes and was a pleasant walk away from Whitchurch village where there were several dining and takeaway options, plus a range of shops and supermarkets. There was a bus stop close by to get us into the centre of Cardiff easily and without the need to drive - and then find somewhere to park.

We had difficulty working out how to use the microwave as the instructions provided were for a different model.The ensuites appeared not to have extractor fans, which was a nuisance as they also didn't have windows so steam from showering (and odours) could not be easily dispersed. There was a washing machine, iron and ironing board but no tumble dryer or outside washing line to dry clothes, just a rather small and flimsy airer (and no pegs so it couldn't be used outside). The duvet cover had a small rip that was covered by a throw when we arrived and the pillows were very flat and cheap-feeling, out of character with the rest of the apartment. A bag of rubbish and another of recycling were left in the yard from the previous occupants. We stayed for 8 nights and the Guest Info book said that for stays longer than 6 nights there would be a mid-stay clean and the towels and bed linen would be changed. This didn't happen but, as we don't do this at such short intervals at home, it didn't really bother us. When we took the rubbish and recycling from the kitchen bins we found the recycling bin had a black bin liner, so all the recycling and rubbish just went in the same wheelie bin in the apartment "garden". The Guest Info book said to put towels in the bath at the end of the stay but the apartment had no bath. The "check out" email referred to a parking permit, which we didn't have or need.

I have been travelling to work in Newport on a Monday to Friday for several months and have always not been happy about something. I have to say for the price this was fantastic. The location is in Whitechurch a better part of Cardiff, it was clean and quiet and the balcony was useful. the only down side is that I dont think the oven is working
