Staff and communication good. Large, comfortable bed. Spacious room. Great location in center of city. Especially fun to be there on a major festival day.

Room was a little musty. The only window opens on ground floor to the outside - so did not feel safe leaving it open at night. Rooms are inside a 'Christmas Village' enclosed area- but all little 'shops'in village were empty- so an odd vibe when not Christmas season. Would probably be very cute at Christmas. No breakfast on day we were there- restaurant closed.

Very welcoming, helpful, friendly. Great secure parking right across the street. The room was gorgeous! The grounds are awesome, like your in a mountain xmas village, but the shops inside the inn are only open on the weekends. Super quiet for sleeping... Great location to Centro, it's a small town but beautiful. Sadly not a lot of Christmas activity, it must be crazy here during the Christmas season. Wednesday lots of things are closed. The artists who make the glass blown decorations are only here during the xmas season, but there are a ton for sale and on display... beautiful!!!!

Visiting during the Christmas fair, this is a great place to stay. The evening light and music show is great. Every year, they are making improvements, and this year was better than ever. The rooms we have stayed in have all been comfortable. They have secure parking.

Wifi is weak. The whatsapp messaging service does not work. No one responded to two separate requests, and both times, we had to go to the office.

Okay - it’s quirky because it’s a Christmas village - but this is the best hotel in Tlalpujahua with regards to facilities, room decor and comfort. I have stayed in many hotels here that lack warmth and hot water. The rooms here are beautifully decorated with lovely beds, talavera style sinks, and each room even has a small Christmas tree. Cute and elegant is how I would describe the rooms, even if the village is more cute and quirky. This hotel provides instant hot water, and the bathrooms even have facecloths (which are rare in Mexico). Very clean and great water pressure. The beds are comfy, and there was a big fluffy blanket to add to the bed for extra warmth. There is a coffee machine with two styrofoam cups and water provided. (I wish they would ditch the styrofoam for paper or a real locally made mug, as that would be elegant, less damaging for the environment and would support the local artists). The coffee provided is full of sugar, but hey - if you want quality coffee, just bring your own. It’s nice they provide the machine and two small bottles of water. The room was so warm! We sat up and enjoyed some wine, and didn’t need jackets and toques to visit. (The majority of hotels in Tlalpujahua are freezing cold). The staff is friendly and want their guests to have the best stay. On my last trip here, they moved our group to different rooms because they had some issues with the water. This time, we stayed in that part of the hotel and everything had been fixed. As someone with a tour company, I will always recommend this hotel. It is more expensive, but guests will be comfortable and warm here. We used to send guests with space heaters and extra blankets to Tlalpujahua because of the cold, and this hotel means we no longer have to do that. The restaurant has beautiful breakfast, good coffee and excellent service for a reasonable price.

I wish the restaurant door closed, because it is very cold in the mornings. That said, the restaurant is efficient and has really good breakfast.

The location is great and there is parking available. The hotel has a music and light show on the weekend, at least during the holiday fair. The room was large with a comfortable bed.

We were there for the Christmas fair in December. The altitude is around 8500 ft . It was very cold and there was no working heating in the room. It was impossible to be warm in the room. Jumping Jack's helped.
