Hide Away Cabin

loved the location, cabin and facilities.

bathroom was great on the warmer days but would suggest patio type retractable/roll down canvas screens, preferably with windows/transparent in the shower, to keep out the cold and wind on cooler days.

We loved all the trees surrounding the entire place and the quietness hearing the fish eagle every morning & sunset. The outside hottub, braai & table area is beautiful and the table & hottub is under a roof so when it rained we could still sit there. There was more than enough of all the small things like extra blankets, toilet paper, plates, braai things etc We loved the upstairs balcony, all the plants in the house and the beautiful outside bathroom with the big shower overlooking the trees.

I would want to upgrade the place with a bigger bed, new bedding and new towels to make it a more luxurious stay. I didn't like that there were no plugs available and I couldn't blowdry my hair. When it rained the cabin made creaking sounds the entire night long. The only small thing we couldn't find was a second plug to be able to rinse the dishes in the second sink, otherwise everything was perfect.

Super private, you can't see anyone, no one sees you. The place is kitted out and quite luxurious and rustic. I loved everything about this place, it's well thought out, hidden, and convenient. We could hear owls at night and fish eagles in the day. The stars out here are breathtaking. It's so quiet and self-contained. The braai area is really quite lovely. Suitable for a couple.
