The White Villa

We had the worst experience ever in this villa in Nea Kalikratea. The photos on Booking.com showed a lovely garden gazebo with a table and chairs, but when we arrived there was no gazebo—only one broken umbrella left behind. The biggest issue, however, was that one of the doors leading outside was broken and could not be locked. I immediately contacted the management agency (not the actual owner), and I was shocked at how rude and unhelpful they were. Their response was that “nothing can be done” and if we weren’t happy, we could just leave! They showed zero concern for our safety. We felt scared every day knowing that anyone could just walk into the villa, especially since we had valuable belongings with us. I then reached out to Booking.com, and thankfully their support team was kind and helpful. They spoke to the agency, and eventually we were told that someone would come to fix the door in 2–3 days. We stayed 6 nights—and nobody ever came. The only positive thing about this villa is that the interior is new and modern. But we could not use the garden during the day as there was no shade, and most importantly, we never felt safe due to the broken, unlockable sliding door. I would absolutely not recommend this villa to anyone.

The property is brand new, exceptionally modern, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a longer stay. It’s spacious, fully equipped, and offers everything you need for complete comfort. Located in a quiet, peaceful area with no noise or crowds, it’s an ideal place for true relaxation and enjoyment, especially for families with children. The large yard provides plenty of space for play and leisure, and there are two private parking spots within the property. Everything is spotless, new, and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The only minor drawback is that the last 300 meters of the road leading to the property are not yet paved. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to all the benefits the place offers, and it is expected that the road will be paved in the near future.
