The Beach House

Superb seafront location. Room was clean and very comfortable. Had sea facing room and woke to see wonderful sunrise

All good, just a note that it is a "continental style" breakfast in the room, but many local cafes if fuller meal required

Close to all amenities situated opposite the seafront with lovely views. Lovely size room very clean and comfortable

Large bath tub and plenty of hot water.

Door bell didn't seem to work. The bedroom had glass blocks that let light in all night, the mattress was very soft, the loo was stained, there was no towel rail or any waste bins or a bath mat, and the breakfast was a poor selection of items put out the day before with the tea and coffee things in our room.

Lovely location opposite the beach. Room was newly decorated very clean and comfortable. Communication with staff was great. Would recommend

Nothing to dislike

The location first of all, is very ideal. On the beachfront and very near to where I needed to be. I was also upgraded last minute to an en-suite due to a cancellation from someone else. This also came with a second bedroom with a single bed (ideal for if your with your child, I don’t have a child haha but if you do this is ideal). The woman on the phone was also very nice and the man who let me in was relatively welcoming as well.

What let my room down (despite the fact it was an upgrade) was the cleanliness. There were paint stains all over the floor, especially in the additional bedroom. There was something broken (presumably came off the wall) left on the shelf which isn’t overly offensive but I wouldn’t leave broken things on the shelves if I were hosting. The bathroom window wouldn’t shut and the handle was very flimsy as though it was on the verge of coming off in my hand. Part of the floor in the additional bedroom was also coming up - it was overall quite grubby. Finally, the double bed seemed uncomfortable like it was too soft and sinking - I slept in the single bed in the second room (which was actually very comfortable).

Location was good

Bed was awful, sagged. Room was extremely hot had to have windows open loads of noise from street. No one there in the morning, went down to basement area looking for staff, shouted out no one came. No breakfast
