May House Dalat

I stayed there during my birthday trip. I did ask the owner in advance how I would spend it, and they did their best to let me have a nicer room than I booked and recommended a lot of places to go to eat and see. They even surprised me with an unexpected and amazing birthday cake. If I go back to Dalat, I would stay there again for sure. P.S. They have a nice breakfast and also dinner per choice if you would like to eat with other travellers.

Incredibly friendly family who let you into their home and go above and beyond to help your trip. Beds were super comfy and the food was excellent

Room was lovely with a comfortable bed and lots of natural light. Breakfast was good too.

Incredible warm hosts, a true homestay! The rooms and beds are very spacious and comfortable too. Hoan is also a tour guide so his recommendations are excellent. We did the countryside easy rider tour with Tony and Hung which was one of the best tours I had done in Vietnam. Ask for them!!!

Nothing

Everything! It was whole new experience. I have never experienced hospitality like at May’s House. If you are a solo traveler, you don’t feel alone anymore. The couple that runs the House, make you feel like one of their own. Family dinners every other night, make sure you don’t miss out on it! I had a single room, perfect, private bathroom. Great location, about 10min walk from the center.

The home warmth. It’s run by a family there are the sweetest. If you need to have a home like feeling of Vietnam go here.

wonderful house with welcoming Host. they do family dinners every other day and all guests invited! I loved it and I am coming again!

Incredibly nice family that you’re staying with, the whole time eager to help out and caring about your wellbeing.

A little far from the “hip” part of the city, no problem if you take a scooter or grab though. The room (double bedroom) was not soundproof at all regarding the sounds from downstairs (kitchen area, reception, piano and family space) so for us it was a bit too loud especially in the evenings. Although for solo travelers that are spending the time downstairs with the others this might be no issue :)
