The place is really great, It is always clean, and the owner is very friendly and helpful with everything. Also, the location is central, which is very convenient, as you are close to all the attractions in DA LAT

The hotel helped us book the ‘cloud chasing’ trip, and the guide for this was 10/10. It was our highlight of Dalat. We also met a few hostel guests at the family dinner, which was fun, and the food was nice (although quite expensive)

The room wasn’t very clean - there were lots of hairs on the floor of the bedroom and the towels were very old and stained. The biggest issue was a 5% card charge when paying. We spent a lot of money at the hostel (room, meal and trip) and felt asking for cash on this amount was unfair, especially when businesses aren’t supposed to charge customers for the bank fee. It’s a shame as it tainted a decent experience overall.

Нормальный гестхаус. Номер был просторный, достаточно чисто. Хозяева и правда очень милые. Вечерами были семейные ужины, я не участвовала, но со стороны казалось, что это было весело. Отдыхающие в основном молодые европейцы путешествующие с рюкзаками) атмосфера в дома в целом приятная. Вроде ещё были завтраки, но мы их как-то пропустили.

Проблемы с душем. Нет перегородки между душем и туалетом и пол постоянно мокрый. Это частая проблема в Азии, но кроме этого у нас в номере постоянно не было горячей воды или она быстро прекращала идти. За неделю я так и не смогла нормально помыть голову, имея длинные волосы, и это было сильно некомфортно для меня. Плюс нас заселили в номер в двумя большими кроватями, это в целом неплохо, но я хотела номер с большими окнами и балконом, как было на фото. Расположение не понравилось – рядом почти нет кафе, до всех хороших заведений и мест для прогулок нужно ехать.

Location is nice and there is possibility to arrive earlier, use small bathroom and leave luggage at the lobby before check in (around 3 pm).

The room that we got was not clean, balcony had big metal wall in front, so it did not make sense to use it. But the real problem was a big mold on the wall just next to our bed - looked like it was covered with a table on purpose. Fortunately there was one room empty, so the stuff changed our room. I don't know why they did't give as the clean room the first time (the rooms were the same standard). On the check out there was a problem, because the stuff didnt speak English and was in a big panic that we didnt pay for the breakfast (which was included in our booking). It was not easy to clarify this without English speaking stuff. The door to the rooms are untight so you hear everything thats going on on the hallway.

The first room we were given didn’t look like the photos so they moved us on our second night to a much nicer, brighter room. As it’s a hostel it was quite noisy at times

Juan en Lee zijn hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Regelmatig maken ze een "family dinner" waarbij er een grote hoeveelheid gerechten bereiken worden tegen een schappelijke prijs. We deden een tour door de country side met Juan naar verschillende watervallen, tempel, koffie plantage, zijde fabriek en Ricewine producent. Een aanrader

I like to choose a place at the edge of the tourist zone. May House is a touch further but was perfect. Comfortable private room with good bed.
