Grandma's house

Naif family's house in Wadi Musa is a real gem! Beautiful decor, very comfortable and great breakfast but the highlight was the fantastic hospitality by Naif and his family. It's walking distance to Petra entrance and the town center but also quiet. Naif went above and beyond to make us comfortable, had lots of good recommendations and tips, but at the same time respected our privacy. We were sad to leave! Naif helped us after I had a fall and needed to go to the hospital. He drove us there in the middle of the night, stayed and helped with translation and even brought us food when we got back home. A very special thank you!

For most of the traveler, it's common to choose to stay in Petra for 1-2 nights, but we stayed here for 3 nights and still felt it wasn't enough. Because Nayef and his family are incredibly warm and friendly, making me wish for more time to spend with them. "Grandma House" is a apartment built by Nayef and his mother themselves, and they completed all the plumbing and electrical work. I deeply admire their craftsmanship. The interior is full of carpet, and the decor is very authentic and clean, making it feel like having a home in Jordan! What's truly remarkable is that no air conditioning is needed! Be sure not to miss Nayef's breakfast, which is very authentic, delicious, and fresh. It's the most delicious breakfast I've had in Jordan. Thanks to Nayef, for sharing "anab" with me. I still miss it even after returning to Taiwan. Thanks to Nayef, even though he's busy with work, still took a chance chat with us and took us to nearby sights. Although the time is short, I cherished it. Thanks to Nayef's mother, she is always very warm and welcoming. She cooked delicious meals and invited us to visit her place, which touched me deeply. I am very happy that we chose Grandma House initially. Meeting Nayef and his family was an honor for us. Will definitely visit again and strongly recommend it to all travelers. We had a great time staying at Grandma's house. The apartment was very nicely furnished in local style with attention to every detail. We felt really comfortable, everything was very clean and smelled nicely. Naif, the host, was very helpful and attentative during our whole stay. In addition to the room, it is possible to order delicious homemade meals for breakfast and diner, and you can use Naif's services as local guide to explore the surrounding areas. Overall, we had an exceptional experience with Grandma's house and will definitely choose it again the next time we visit this area.
