"Cathedral Coach House"

The coach house is well appointed and well located to take advantage of Lichfield's city-walking culture. The hosts were welcoming (including a generous welcome package) and responsive. The free car parking space would have been handy if we had driven there.

The welcome smell in the living area was initially a little stronger than expected.

"A great place to stay for a visit to Lichfield."

This immaculate, excellently equipped little house is in a new development cleverly designed to minimise noise and ensure no fast traffic. The Cathedral Walk just round the corner is a green pathway right into the centre of the town. A few minutes round the corner in the other direction are a Waitrose and a nice pub, the Inkwell. Easy parking just outside the house. Everything comfortable and welcoming.

"A comfortable weekend in a peaceful part of Lichfield with great host communication."

The house was in the perfect location for walking into town along the lovely green Cathedral Walk. Our host left some lovely food and drink including wine and cereals for us which we appreciated. She was great to communicate with before we arrived. The house itself is comfortable and well equipped.

The only issue we had was with the hot water, which was timed to go off at 9am. I think this was mentioned in the handbook - we just hadn't expected it, and it took a while to re-heat so some of us could shower in the morning. Perhaps the timing could be set to give guests a bit longer to shower, wash up etc, in the morning.
