The private onsen in the room was spectacular and a highlight of our whole Japan trip. Such a great way to unwind and slow down. There’s coffee and popsicles all day, and a great rooftop bar even in December with a warm foot soak. The hotel’s location was great! Easy to walk to historic and cultural sights as well as great shopping areas. There is a can stand right out front as well as a nearby train station. Healthy grocery store across the street, and so many great restaurants really close by. The staff was wonderful as well. Definitely stay at the Bettei!
